Harbor tour with kids, a stroller or a wheelchair

Kids love the huge container ships and cranes. Strollers are usually no problem, and there are accessible boats for wheelchairs. Here is what to know before you go.

With kids on board

A harbor tour is a great family outing: in about an hour, kids see giant container ships, cranes, launches and, when the tide allows, the Speicherstadt from the water. Every boat used has a restroom. Most launches have a drinks machine; no snacks are sold on board, so bring something for the little ones.

Strollers

Strollers are usually no problem. Just let the team at the Landungsbrücken know, and boarding will go smoothly.

Wheelchairs: these boats are accessible

Whether a wheelchair can come along depends on the boat. The passenger ships RIVER STAR and HAMBURG and the paddle steamer LOUISIANA STAR are wheelchair accessible. It is best to contact us beforehand and let the team on site know.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome on board.
