What you see
The Reeperbahn tour takes about two hours and runs in the evening. It leads along the Reeperbahn to well-known places such as Herbertstraße, the Davidwache police station, bars, clubs and the St. Pauli Theater, with stories of sailors, local legends and music icons. The public tour is in German; private tours are possible in other languages.
Minimum age and group size
Ages 18 and up. In exceptional cases, 16- and 17-year-olds may join, but only with a parent or legal guardian. Usually 20 to 25 people take part, small enough for everyone to hear the guide. Walk-ins are not possible, so please book ahead.
Taking photos
St. Pauli offers plenty of photo spots. Photos of sex workers and the people around them are off-limits. That can quickly lead to trouble. Take photos respectfully and you will be fine.
Suitable for women?
Absolutely, everyone is welcome. Only Herbertstraße is not entered by women, at the request of the women working there; the guide walks around it with them.
Meeting point
In front of the Hard Rock Cafe at the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken, Pier 6 (Landungsbrücken station, U3 and S-Bahn). Please arrive about 15 minutes before the start. Start times are shown in the booking calendar.
Keep the night going
The Reeperbahn club tour starts at 10:30 PM at Beatles-Platz, with a party guide through 4–5 clubs. For groups, a private tour is also available.
